Where does the consumer data come from?
Over 30 million American consumers who opted in and volunteered their browsing behavior. Observed, refreshed daily. Kartel is the only software provider licensed to bring this panel to marketing teams.
Does my data train anything or leave my workspace?
Your BrnDNA record and your ingested data live in your workspace, encrypted, and are used only to answer your calls. They are never pooled, never used to train models and never visible to another customer.
Can it run on my own machine?
The hosted endpoint runs on the same backend as the Kartel app, so anything the app can do, your agent can do. A local package is being scoped. It would hold your key and brand context on your machine and still call Kartel for anything that touches the Data, so row-level panel data never leaves Kartel.
Do I ever need to open the Kartel app?
No. Kartel sets up your workspace and key during early access. Building BrnDNA, ordering data, writing briefs and generating assets all happen through your agent. Finished files are stored in your Kartel library and linked in the chat.
What happens when a question needs data I do not hold?
The Data strategist comes back with three audiences: the people who already buy from you, your competitors' buyers, and the cohort you want and do not have, each priced in data credits. You order one in the chat. Nothing is bought without your say.
Can I get raw panel rows?
Calls return answers, indexes and the evidence behind them. Row-level panel data stays inside Kartel. That is what keeps the panel consented and the license exclusive.
What if my agent is not an MCP client?
Every tool is also a plain HTTPS endpoint that takes the same key.
Can my media agency use it too?
Yes. Issue them a scoped key against your BrnDNA record. They get the targeting plan the moment it exists, and you see every call.
